Thanks. I wasn't looking forward to it but it was worth it.

Note: I originally ran the tach to the negative side of the coil but I wasn't getting a reading. Since I have a MSD ignition it has to be ran to that unit and there is a tach output terminal on the side of the unit.

That gauge isn't what I was expecting at all. I thought it would be the older style digital gauge. Very very nice.

Were you thinking of this one?

I thought about getting that one but really wanted the actual needles. I didn't like the color patterns that they had but the one I got is relatively new I believe and really like the way it looks.

Day shot, of course I painted the bezel but scratched it up getting in back in. Tight fit back there.

I think the gauge is pretty cool but I like the old-style gauge a lot better

I didn't mind the look of the stock gauge just doesn't have the functionality.

The blue on black digital is what I was thinking of. I like analog myself, digital doesn't look right and you can't tell anything at a glance like you can a needle.

Got busy with work the last few days. I got new dash speaker put in and fabbed up the bracket for the radio. Been chasing gremlins with the horn, hazard & dash lights. I think I have an idea what to do thru research but we will see. Been looking thru every wire diagram I can find because everything is mixed and stuff is just gone.

Steering linkage came in and tie rod came in. It is massive.

Compared to ranger stock tie rod

Your probably better off getting a universal style harness and starting over. People hack everything up on older vehicles by the time someone who cares gets them.

That thing is massive, no doubt

That's what sucks. He just bought a new wiring harness not that long ago but only hooked up the essentials to make it run. I have the original diagrams for it but it is vague. At the same time he left old wiring in that wasn't needed anymore & wiring/relays are gone I need, so I've been slowly trying to make sense of it all.

Yessir. I'll break the knuckle before you bend this tie rod.
