Yeah I never once had to winch my ranger while sitting in the garage.

I thought I could maybe make this bumper work and mount a winch behind the bumper cause I wasn't a fan of how the winch bumpers stuck out. I don't know though.

But of course a few weeks after I bought this one a company came out with a hidden winch bumper.

Back went better than the front. Just had to hammer the frame a little.

Front is painted and mounted. Got the mounts redone and it worked out good. I left the light tabs on for now to see if they grow on me. 98% sure they won't.

Fixed an issue I found with the new bumper. The tailgate would contact the bumper so I found some 90's Dodge Ram tailgate cables that were the right length. Had to modify them to work but I'm happy with the results. Also no more rattling metal tailgate straps so win win.

Also ordered a new power steering box. I think it will drive pretty nice after I swap that considering that is the only piece I haven't replaced.

My 86 Toyota had metal bars that would fold up, they were where the cables would be. I liked those best since they would never break

Not such a good idea when they are in the cab with you. Rattling like crazy.

That might make a difference, but even with the back window open I never heard any rattling, might be a Toyota vs Ford built thing though lol
