I avoided the interstate today. Fog + major closings and construction on every overpass in the city... yeah somebody's dying today

I can't wait to get out of Charleston, way too many people are moving here and they haven't improved the highways in a long time, what used to be a short 25 minute commute has doubled in the last 4 years

No, but the metal tub that the fiberglass panels mount to loves to rot out.

finally got progress pics from the retrofit people.
So in 10 weeks they baked the housings and painted 1 shroud. lol

I'm actually glad they are doing all this work. We've needed it for more than 10 years. But they're literally working on every single overpass at the same time along with some of the local roads around and connecting to the overpasses. So everything is a major cluster fuck. And the reduced speed limit through the construction zone is 50 mph. But everybody does 70 or more and it's pretty dangerous.
