Had a 2015 Tahoe from Enterprise rental come in today for an oil change, rotate and brake inspection. Had 33k miles on it. They wanted the brake inspection because the brakes were grinding. Had no inboard pad left on either side, the pistons on the calipers were touching the rotors and the drivers side was puking brake fluid.
Yep, had to stick calipers, pads, and rotors on a 6 month old car, lol. GM QUALITY! But yet, the back brakes were evenly worn and had 8mm of pad left. So, I'm sure it wasn't from being driven to shit, especially since the original tires were still on it and they had like 9/32nds of tread left.
That was my morning, then I witnessed a meth head crash her van into the church sign behind our building, and try to drive off. I checked on her to see if she was OK, and saw she was fine physically, but out of her damn mind, she had no clue she had pushed her drivers front wheel into her door, and ripped the strut out of it and pulled the CV axle out of the transmission.
Had to stick around and make a police report an hour after I got off work. FML.
