I was fishing with my brother, who's a fishing guide, on the columbia river last year and hooked a 8 ft sturgeon. It took me an hour and a half to reel it in!!! The strongest fish i'd ever fought, it was freaking awesome!!! The best part about hooking those oversized is when they jump out of the water, it doesn't happen that often, but when it does It's amazing to see an 8ft 300lb fish flying outa the water... They don't have teeth either just big ass lips LOL

Yeah but they have been known to jump and hit people in boats. Can be pretty dangerous. http://news.nationalgeographic.com/n...-sturgeon.html
