Hoping to make it much better than stock!

Re: Huge Moose!!
I think the camera angle is causing some of the size, but it's still huge. TBH I wouldn't wanna wound the thing LOL.
I also heard about someone who hit a moose in their car and the moose skipped over the roof and got back up and walked into the brush LOL. Car was totalled tho LOL.

Re: Huge Moose!!
Hitting a moose with a car is usually fatal for the car and often serious or fatal for the driver too. Those "Brake for Moose, it could save you life" signs on the highway aren't a joke.
Now that picture, something isn't right about that. Not sure I believe it.

Re: Huge Moose!!
Theres the world's biggest moose, statue of course, 45 minutes away from me. If this thing is real that is awesome. I think it's a shop, but if not.. I'm going hunting, haha jk.
I used to live in farm country and I've been involved in a few close calls with some moose.

Re: Huge Moose!!
As for the pic, I don't think it's shopped. If you look at the legs in the first pic, it would take a hell of an artist to duplicate that leg playing peek a boo through the brush. I think what it is is that the camera angle was low to the ground. You can do the same thing by taking your camera to your truck, it'll appear bigger than it is.
I figure that the moose walking away from an accident is a yarn. Never know, could happen, but I can't see how such long legs could keep from being broke.
And it'd be very interesting to walk out to check power lines and find a moose hanging there!!
As for me, my wife nearly cause me to wreck in Montana when she spotted a moose in a field. My first indication, being that I'm watching the road, was when my wife nearly poked my eye out with her hand shooting across my vision and yelling "OH MAH GAHD LOOK AT THAT!!!!!" lol.
And the time before that was up in Thompson Falls MT where my dad and I were fishing. There was this young bull out in the river, and we stopped and got out of the truck to look at him. That bull and us must have stared at eachother for about 15 minutes before he decided "Screw you guys, I'm goin home" and trotted on out of sight.

Re: Huge Moose!!
Wow! just... wow.
gonna send this on to a proffesional bebunker I know to get his take on whether or not the pic is real. If it's shopped he'll be able to prove it.

Re: Huge Moose!!
looking at it I think it is a chop, look at the little white spot around the butt on both picks and if you notice the moose is in the exact same position in both pics just turned in the second one

Re: Huge Moose!!
I personally think its shopped. If you look at the position of the legs they are in the exact same position in both pics. Bit if its not WOW thats huge!

Re: Huge Moose!!
What about the sunlight in the 2nd pic on his antlers and ear? Looks pretty natural. But then, I have no problem admitting that if it is shopped, it's a really good job. It just looks to me mostly that whoever the photographer was, he was taking that picture low to the ground.
Moose can get up to 7' tall, and more depending on the species. Not to mention, we don't exactly know the actual size of the trees, being none of us are standing in the spot the pic was taken. It could be some pretty new growth, generally speaking.
There are lots of tricks in photography that can be used to make the image seem as you want it to be. But on the shopped idea, I can see some spots on the side of that moose that seem a bit blurred too. And in the second photo, by the front right leg, you can see the shaft of sunlight doesn't appear to be blocked by any part of that moose. However, you can see sunlight on the inside of his right leg, and some on the backside of the left.
Legs don't quite look to be at the same angle in both pics. I honestly don't know. Like I said, if it's photoshopped, it's a good job.
