Re: Off Road Go Kart
Sandrail might be fun, but if I decide to build a kart, I'm looking more into general off roading. Something that climbs some rocks, has no problem with a little mud, and can go places a full sized vehicle can't go. Horsepower wopuld be important, but speed itself isn't needed with them.
There are some others that look like go karts for around 2-12 grand depending on what you care to spend. Maybe I'll look into that.

Working on gathering parts, paint, vynals, and such for the rest of the build LOL. I use this as an everyday truck, but it's also the only truck I have for hunting and general off road fun. Hoping to make it much better than stock!

Re: Off Road Go Kart
dude you should just get a sand rail if thats what you want. Most of them look like that off road cart, bug longer, and they usually have a 1500cc or so vw motor in them

Re: Off Road Go Kart
i don't know man i really don't think its worth your money. especially becuase your going to start college soon and its going to go to waste because your never going to use it again. honestly man if i were you i'd save your money for when your in school trust me if you have money going into school its going to make things a lot more fun!
just speaking from experience man, been in the same situation and really wish i had someone to tell me to save my money. because if i did have it n school it would of been a hell of a lot more fun!

Re: Off Road Go Kart
Look for a Honda Odyssey on CL, they will be less than that, and hell, its a Honda. I had a clone of one when I would younger. It had a centrifuge clutch which was nice.

Re: Off Road Go Kart
I agree with ranger hippie. Save your money for college. If you don't have a job during the school year, it will drain your bank account and wallet. I am also speaking from experience. I also think that you would get bored with a go-kart. I would go for a 4-wheeler or dirtbike or a road bike. But its all your money and you can do whatever you want with it.

Re: Off Road Go Kart
Since no one has mentioned these little guys I figured I would add them. I've seen some people trick them out pretty good, and can be street legal.
