About time to get Rwenzing in on this...lol. That supercharged 5.0L should shut these Colorado boys up...lol.

I like the idea, what do we have to lose, we KNOW our trucks are better. I think it should be as follows:

ok let me change my ideas since colorado boy mentioned the races.

-Stock 4 banger against stock 4 banger (reg cabs)
-reg cab 4.0 SOHC against reg cab whatever the colorado equiv is
to help the 3.slow guys out, there needs to be a race for them too...lol
then 4x4 against 4x4
then last but not least--

Our BEST truck(s) against their very best. Our diesel Ranger versus whatever they have or possibly Bob's 5.0 against whatever they have

1 roadrace (curvy) of the above trucks

Than have 1 drag race with the BEST top dog truck of the forum. of course I guess ya'll wouldnt mind running against our resident 9 second diesel Ranger (if his engine is rebuilt by that time..lol) or our Superchared 5.0 fella.

These are just my thoughts. I think it would be fun and it wouldnt hurt anything. Just proves that the Ranger is IN FACT better than a Colorado ever thought about bieng ANY DAY.

guys look at the website. its 1 vehicle that will be doing all 3 events. there are 3 events already set on the site. a dragrace, a roadrace (autocross style) and a tie breaker race that is a figure 8.

watch the videos on the site it tells it all.

and no we wouldnt mind that race at all. we have an answer for it.

I agree. I just thought it was funny. A driver would have made all of the difference in that race lol.

yeah thats what ive noticed in those vids. is less about the cars than it is the drivers skill.

We've already had one member local to that area step up. Who do you have available that's willing to race there?

not sure yet. i was waiting on set rules. the only person i saw that said they were stepping up and that was STL. i will check with my guys and see all who is willing to go. if you guys want to disregard the rules then so be it.
