I raced i believe it was a 97 mustang with a 5.0. He had the cobra intake, mild cam, long tube headers, msd ignition, 3.73's and dynod at 240hp to the wheels. He beat me by 1.5 lengths from a 15-80. I just had a cherry bomb duals, 2nd cat delete, 3.73's.

Nothing against the 5.0's but I'd think he would have made more power then 240......I hope you have a good combination to get your 5.0 to 300whp

I think he's just butthurt because the 302 was too much for chevy so they had to put a 350 in a camaro to contend with it.

Never was a fan of the camaros, being 6'3" doesn't really suite me. The guy ran his mustang at the 8th mile and ran a 8.9 my fastest is a 9.3, both on street tires

I drive a chevy cause I get gm employees discount. I'm actually looking for a 95-97 ford f-350 crew cab, LB 4X4 with the 7.3L diesel. Then I'm gonna lift the fuck out of it. Like atleast a 25" lift with 49.5" tires. I have a lowered truck so I want a lifted one too.

But hey guy FYI I'm not bashing on fords, if I got a discount on any other manufacture I'd be driving that.

I got ya....but please don't go that much lift....go around like 10 inches with like 37's. Will look good but won't look like you're trying to compensate for a small penis

Well I don't like to go mild on anything. I have my Colorado slammed. No bags this is my static drop. I'm almost 6" drop. I have always wanted a big lifted truck. So I'm going huge with it. If people want to talk then go for it if it makes themselves feel better.

When you get one and lift it make sure you plaster it with "Monster" graphics so the exterior of the truck can match the gayess of the huge lift

Curious why you are freaking out that guy there is nothing wrong with lifted truck nor is there anything wrong with slammed ones your truck should describe you not some cliché. Personally I think the colorado was on the 10 worst list for a reason...

so when he lifts a truck with 25" of lift, and renders it useless for anything else then we know he is the typical wannabe poser....good idea

Not if its done right and it could be a show truck or something 25" is alot but its a cool project just like his dropped colorado I would like it more wiht an ls series block and a 12 bolt but its very clean looking street truck.

When I do drops or lifts I do them right. My drop on my rado has control arms and adj. Coilovers. The best way to drop our trucks. Of course with big tires comes bigger brakes, higher gearing, pinion angle. I have a company car so these trucks are not dd's. Thanks for the great responses guys. I'm still on the rado forum just expanding my love for trucks

well as long as you do it the right and safe way there is the chance that it will look good at least. I'm usually not a fan of overly huge trucks but some do tend to grow on me
