Default Master/Slave Politically Incorrect?

Last week the International Fluid Power Society made the decision to move from the label of master/Slave cylinder to main stage cylinder and pilot cylinder. What're your guys' thoughts, is the term Master/Slave cylinder politically incorrect?

It isn't published yet. I'm a fluid power student at Hennepin Technical College in Eden Prarie Mn and the ifps had meetings held here all last week to re-write the certification tests as well as any changes to the standards. I was told the information by my instructor, Ernie Parker who is a very respected source in the field, the day after the decision was made. When they release the new manual for certification I will post a link but I suspect it to be a couple weeks out. Keep in mind that this is the ifps, not sae or any other society/association. I don't see it catching on, just thought I'd post and see what other's opinions were on the subject.

Personally I see no issue with master/slave as it is simply stating the relationship between the cylinders, but that's just me.

Well I personally take more offense to the Toyota Tacoma water pump gasket.

Never once thought of it that way until reading this thread. Interesting. Someone got their panties in a bunch. And the Toyota water pump is hilarious...
