Re: Graduated today!
Thanks everyone! Now it's time to look for a job in my field. Law enforcement is number one in my list! However here in Southern California getting hired in a police agency is hard due to many agencies aren't hiring at this moment, some only taking applications and not immediately hiring. But things will happen and I'll keep looking.

Re: Graduated today!
Can you possibly get a job at the county or city jail? It is a start and they usually promote from within that way also

LAPD is always hiring. They just dropped their starting pay by $10K though... but they do pay you to go to the academy which is a huge plus.
There's actually a decent amount of agencies hiring lateral transfers, but obviously that doesn't help you since you haven't completed an academy. Have you thought about paying your way through an academy? I know Fullerton JC has a P.O.S.T. certified academy.

I applied for CHP back in October and passed the written and physical but did not pass the interview. I'll keep trying though. Their process is very hard most people failed the written test.
