Default Courtney fire

I came across this video awhile back, I watched this fire burn when I got home from work. Alot of people lost their homes because someone couldn't handle the smell of a dead deer.

There's just no cure for stupid/selfish people. Well, I guess there is, but it's illegal.
Even so, the sight of a DC10 coming in like that just has to be impressive, considering the reason why.

every single summer & winter, we get fires generally started by newbs to the country & rural plots. i wish i knew what they were thinking when the light a brush fire, or weld next to a hay barn, or maybe i don't lol

edit: prolly the biggest contributor is hay or brush equipment around here. people caught our land on fire two years in a row trying to cut too low. all it takes is one rock. that or a spun bearing on a bailer lol!

That's how it happens here too, a month before this fire we had a fire burn 12,000 acres that started from a campfire that had a 5 foot long log in it that was sitting in pine needles. We get a few fires from "growers" that set up shop in the middle of the nowhere.

LOL, yeah we've had plenty of those just around town. Nothing like seeing a propane tank fly like a rocket.
