Lol. Wasn't exactly THAT ancient.

But yes, looks better than the factory one as well. Minus the fact I have a mark on the headliner where the last dome light sat for the past 14 years. Maybe it will buff out, ha.

When I got the mustang assembly in the mail, I saw a wire connector going to it. Ok...so it plugs in, then I found out the screws are what powered it. One of the stranger things I've seen.

So what exactly is the mystery plug for, I wonder? I'm guessing it ran wires possibly to a rearview mirror maplight?

on the newer rangers the dome light has no switch to turn a side on. Its one bulb and can only be turned on by opening the door or rolling the dimmer switch all the way up

So what the heck is the mystery wire connector for for the mustang dome light? Goes to map lights in the rearview mirror? Because it as well as to stock one screws into those wire blocks for power.
