Ok I'm in the middle of a tough decision, I have a 1995 ford ranger I'm trying to sell because I'm wanting a full size ext cab 4x4, kind of like what I have(rather have a short bed but I can live with the 8 footer) I'm definitely staying with ford so no Chevys or dodges, but I've herd some nasty things about the newer f150s, 97 & up, blowing plugs, trannys are a tad bit weak, head gasket issues on the 4.6... So I'm scared on buying a newer f150. So I kinda have a crazy idea to make my 1996 f150 Eddie Bauer edition ext cab long bed 4x4 5.8l auto my new daily driver. I need to do some minor things to my f150 if I was going to drive it daily, but no major issues, so I guess I'm wanting the good and the bad if I buy new or stay with my ole reliable. I've had my f150 for just over a year and only had to do a few things to it. I figure mileage would be better on a newer f150, also if I was to buy newer it would be a 1997-2005 is going to be my price range. Looking for opinions, pic for attention lol image-1447910886.jpg
