The apocalypse thread!!!!
Hey guys just wanna get a thread going to see what y'all have for the end of the world. Things such as plans, gear, guns, knives whatever. I'm not a big prepper but I like to see what everybody else has in store! So here's what I have so far (still adding on obviously) I also have a mossberg 12 ga and lots more ammo and a few little things I don't have pics of!

Re: The apocalypse thread!!!!
I have enough to get me by.
About a dozen guns and several thousand rounds of ammo, enough propane to cook for a while, enough non-perishable food to last a while, enough bottled water to last a while, enough gas to get me out of town if things get nasty.
Each vehicle has a get-home-bag in it with necessities to get you home / get you out of trouble in case you have to hoof it home.
Being prepared is one of the reasons I bought the Ranger, actually. Small reason, but one of them.
Honestly, where I live if something bad / tragic were to happen I'd be best of staying home and riding it out, since trying to get out of town would be difficult at best. And my home is easy enough to defend / is solid with limited points of entry readily available.

As you collect ammo, you may want to factor in the fact that the last large lead smelter in America was shut down in December, 2013. To add to this, there are also a bunch of environmental freaks who are on a mission to ban lead from ammo, and they're using the courts in an effort to further their agenda.

interesting...I had that thought also.
Our last big earthquake was followed by a collapsed bay bridge and fire...
I figured what would I drive around in until the infrastructure is restored?
I sold my lumbering F-lariat for that reason lol

*Mountain bike. No fuel required and it's quiet.
*Enduro, and with a fuel sipping small engine. Extra rubber parts for carb.
**I planted fruit trees on an acreage I own. You can do more with the fruit than just eat it.

Especially when it's a moose making a routine visit.
*I wished moose tags were available for the GMU, it's time to thin the quantity a bit.
