All of the above. I have a few harbor freight tools, no mechanics tools though.
Some of their stuff, like their da polisher are actually pretty decent.

Re: Whats your preffered tool brand?
Only mechanic tool I've got from them is a longgggggg 1/2" breaker bar; it doesn't get used much and so far it hasn't broke. Then again, I haven't put a 3' pipe on it and upped the torque.
I've tried a few of their other tools and had reasonable luck. Sandblaster. Spray gun, worked but wasn't worth the time to clean. DMM, and they make great gifts for friends. The trick to buying from China Freight (or, not buying) is to look at the customer reviews and read carefully. The other thing to realize with some of their products is, even though it's in a box and supposedly ready to go, it's really needing a few mods and a once over to verify correct assembly and that all fasteners are correct and tight.
*Edit: I've come to a conclusion. In these parts, the people that shop HF also shop WalMart and Pull and save. They are all wearing the same standard "uniforms".

Snap-On is pretty much the cats pajamas, just don't buy their sockets! Way overpriced. I only have a few specialty ones from them because nobody else makes them.
My screwdrivers, dead blows, picks, bits, socket holders, etc...are all Snap-On. I've got a few mixed Matco and Mac stuff mixed in. I pretty much use only Craftsman sockets and a few Harbor Freight tools.
Get yourself this socket set. It will save your ass!

And I strictly use DeWalt lithium power tools for my cordless stuff

Didn't say they were bad. Just overpriced. Craftsman is all you need and you can get a replacement/rebuild quicker than the trucks.
If I had the money, yeah. Who wouldn't get a full setup from Snap-On or somebody? Most people just don't want to spend 2-4 times more for products, not much better with the same warranty

Re: Whats your preffered tool brand?
I've got a couple sets of Pittsburgh tools, some macs that I inherited, and afew others. I use the Pittsburgs pretty regularly since I love wrenching on my truck.
