I vote no for the same reasons as Matt. Even if it serves a purpose, it's still not a Cobra. And you are just another poser.

Same as the other 17 year old kids out there with their NA v6 automatic cars trying to pass it of as a Cobra.

Its a very common swap. Looks excellent on just about every mustang I've seen. And you can usually tell immediately when it is and isn't a cobra.

I'm sure to some it might be a huge "offense", but anyone who wants an oem part that actually serves a true purpose doesn't exactly scream "poser". Until he starts putting on cobra badges and gets the cobra imprinted rear bumper, it's safe to say he's no poser

Yeah, that was some of my "concern" in doing it as well.....however, I figured any 'poser talk' would probably be silenced with the big-ass intercooler sitting in there.

I probably wouldn't entertain doing it at all if it wasn't for the intercooler.

And yes, the aspect of showing off the intercooler comes into play for me a bit as well! haha

I would do it. Looks better and works better.

Just make sure you back into the garage so people can see it.

As long as big intercooler and no svt badges or cobra rear bumper....I can dig it I guess. Just 90% of the time I see that bumper it's a NA v6 automatic.

Yeah, I thought about that one as well (Flows nicely)...but cant get over that damn bend in them. It's a mental block at this point - it's all I see! haha

Plus, it doesn't open things up quite as much in front of the intercooler.

Not sure which way to go with all this....haha

99/01 Setup:

That bend in the 99-01 bumper looks like you ran something over and it deformed the valence. Go for the 03-04 bumper.

But the 03-04 fog lights and lower opening are more rounded, the 99/01 looks way more aggressive despite the 'bend'
