Come on now - you know everything is part of the plan moving forward! haha
The rears could be a bit larger - but the fronts need to be checked it's actually looks like it might be close for what I was looking at.
Stock, the brakes are pretty damn big on a Mach 1:
Front Stock Mach 1: Brembo 13 .0" Vented Rotors
Rear Stock Mach 1: Brembo 11.7" Vented Rotors.
I have to check for clearance on the front wheels - but was looking at the Willwood pair:
Front (14.00" Rotor): http://www.wilwood.com/BrakeKits/Bra...&option=Mach+1
Rear (12.88" Rotor): http://www.wilwood.com/BrakeKits/Bra...&option=Mach+1

Yeah, but something tells me the fronts might not fit - even with the 18" wheels.....
When I get close to doing it - I'll have to make some templates in order to test fit the "calipers".

Looks killer. The wheels go very nicely with the Mach stripe and shaker hood.

Mach 1's got cobra brakes. As did the 01 Bullitt's. Only 2 non cobra mustang models to get cobra brakes as factory option.
Stock GT brakes are 10" front and 9" rear. That's why I upgraded to cobra brakes lol.
You can fit up to 14" rotors on the front and up to 13" on the rear. IIRC, for the 13" rears, you need an adapter bracket.

They are. Vented refers to the spaces around the rotor in between the front and the rear.
Difference between vented and solid rotor:

Yeah, overall diameter shouldn't be an issue (center of wheel to the top edge of the caliper requires a hair under 8" of clearance) - it looks like its really going to come down to the 'offset' of the caliper and how close to the back of the spokes it will be on the FR500's.
I'll have to research a bit more - I found one post where someone said the FR500's will work with the 140-9117 kit from Wilwood.
I'm sure the info it out there on Mustang forums - I just have to look a bit more.

Yuuuppp
I know everyone will have an opinion on systems - but I'm leaning towards the Magnaflow MagnaPack catback system ( Exhaust System).
Maybe Borla though.....but, I've always had Magnaflow systems before - and I've had good luck.
Everything needs to stay emission compliant for here in Colorado.

Nothing like the sound of a v8. I had forgotten that our emissions had reached up to the Fort also now...
