Slightly related to the brake install - I wanted to get another floor jack - so this baby is being delivered today.

For some reason most of my other jacks are setup for lifted trucks! lol

Wanted something that was low-profile & long-reach. This should work well for the Mach 1.

Arcan XL2T Black Low Profile Steel Service Jack (2 Ton Capacity).
Height Range: 2.75" to 24"
Chassis Length: 32"

Weighs about a ton (98 pounds) - but it wont be leaving the garage anyway, so not really a factor.

Nice jack. I had to buy something specific for my Mustang long time ago as well.

That Arcan jack is nice, I have the same one in red that I bought like three years ago; I needed something that would fit under the 300ZX. It's been awesome and has held up great!

Yeah, from what I found - that jack got really good reviews pretty much across the board & should work pretty well for my usage.

"Quick Rise" - 7 pumps from collapsed to full height.

If I ever need to get the Mach 1 that high - I've got issues....lol

Needed this one due to lowwww clearances & reach - didn't really look at other "features".

Nice. I hate mine from walmart. It's like 20 pumps to full rise. Although I see a trip to harbor freight in the near future so who knows.

Thanks! It's soooo nice being able to just pull the daily driver out in the snowy mornings & not have to brush anything off it first!

Nice jack. Gotta have a low profile jack if you have a mustang lol. I wish I could get a floor jack but I don't have a garage so I have to stay with a lightweight racing jack.

Once you get the jack, get them brakes on!
