Ok I figured I make a thread on this cuz this thing has been hogging up my shop since the 4th of July, anyway my Gpa passed away alittle over a year ago and my parents inherited his old tractor, I believe it's a 1976? IH 966 non turbo diesel, this thing has had a rough life, burns oil on the rear 3 cylinders, not bad enough for a rebuild yet though! Anyways finally started on paint this last week so here are some pics

This thing had alteast 2,000 lbs of grease on the rear end and frame.. This was the worst part about prepping it

This is the latest just finished doing this about 3 hours ago, so far it's turning out good, sadly the other side still looks like this

So planning on finishing the white around the windows of the cab tommarrow and then hoping to get second coat of red on this side and first coat on the other side! Then time for inside the cab!

cool man! Dad and I repaired the first farmall 806 produced in 64 S/N 4709 to prove it. Its amazing how those things are built when you take em apart. I also had a 58 farmall 460.
