I will be taking my Ranger on it's first long trip it's gonna be about a 2 and a half hour drive to rainbow springs state park. It's a 1991 with 167,000 miles. What all should I do and check before I go? I'm gonna change the oil and everything. It has a lot of new parts, new battery etc

check all fluids...and take some with you..if you have any old hoses, belts throw them in...oh and the most important tool...a roll of duct tape

Alright, I'll probably grease the drive shaft and front end to. Luckily I got brand new radiator hoses and belts. New radiator too.

2.5 hrs isnt really that far but still do everything mentioned above. maybe also a little bit of extra fuel if you have room...
