Working good for me. The AI I go to is always busy. I would be shocked if it closes! I think AA bought a few other companies recently. Maybe they close some that are overlapping to each other. AI and AA are night and day. They cater to different customer bases The AI's around me only sells parts and they trade mostly with Pro Shops and dealers. I like them a lot. I hope they don't close!

And then others just don't know what the hell they're talking about.
I've had problems with AutoZone's electrical parts, and I've seen parts falling out of Advance alternators. Is it the store's fault? Not really, it's the companies fault for sourcing parts from suppliers with less then adequate quality control standards, especially when it comes to shipping.
Don't even get me started on Advance's Customer Purchase tracking system. Shit purges out every few years. It's ridiculous.

I have had good luck with parts like Starters, alternators, brake rotors from AI. I know the local Toyota Stealer uses AI rotors if you don't want to go with the Toyota ones

Hmmm, I've had multiple commercial (pro) customers come in to my store and complain about Advance shutting API down. Maybe it was a local market thing, but they made a big announcement about it in the store bulletin bs.
However, I can't seem to find any info on it via internet searches. Weird.

Must be a individual market thing. I know the immigrants and their rice burners love AI. I'll keep an eye on the stores around me!

I called my AI guy. He said he his store will be unfazed. I am not sure if I believe him but he said technically no AI stores closed. He said some were relocated.
So much of their business is through delivery that they probably could merge some stores. I bet a lot of their Customers never go to the store!

I usually go to the advance near me in browns mills NJ the people there are typically very knowledgeable and helpful. As for the one I went to in North Jersey the 65 year old lady at the counter sold me 2 left side self adjusters for the drums I figured some thing didnt look right when i installed them and the part grenaded and took out the shoes which had like 15 miles on them. My own stupidity played a part since I didnt notice the L or R stamped into the parts lol but ive learned to never trust 65 year old women at parts stores lol. And the Napa in wrightstown by me seems to be always closed every time I went
