I mentioned that my battery was dead in my Seiko so I took it to Wally World to get a new battery and the cutie behind the counter said they weren't allowed to touch them through company policy as they were too expensive for them to break.LOL!

There not that expensive, about $50 to start.I ordered a spanner wrench and a battery so I'll just do it myself. Should be easy unless I drop the little bugger battery,LOL!

I'll add a sporty watch to this thread. Got this from amazon the other day. It's a freestyle killershark analog watch with a silicone band. I love it so far

Yeah I took my Fossil there to get the bracelet resized and after waiting 30 minutes to get someone over to the jewelry center they tell me they can't do it unless it was bought from there. I mean if you don't want the money then...

So I ended up just doing that and installing the battery myself. Neither were a big deal at all. Glad I didn't spend money on it.

I've always preferred automatics. Here is the one I'm wearing now. It's a Seiko 5 with a exhibition case back.

----------

This is my dress watch. It's a Orient Ray also a automatic. I've been running it on NATO straps recently.

----------

This is at the top of my want to buy list. It's a Seiko SKX007.

Nice Orient! Looks really solid, I'd like to get one of those eventually.

I'm thinking about getting one of those SOKI automatic Sub homages from eBay. $15 for a mechanical watch that, according to a thread on Watchuseek, keeps alright time. It's so cheap that why not, lol.

This is what I've got on today. It's a Casio G-Shock G6900KG. It's my only non mechanical watch.

I go to a local jeweler to have a battery replaced since Wal-Mart, KMart, and Radio Shack won't install batteries anymore. I guess inept workers ruined a lot of watches.

That's a good point, and likely. I'd rather have my watch in skilled hands anyway.

My old Eco-Drive and my green face G-Shock. I hardly wear either anymore. Always have the G-Shock for camping/biking and such

This is the best watch purchase I've ever made-- Pebble smart watch. I get so much use out of it, from reading incoming texts while driving to remotely controlling my music, it works wonders.
In the analog department, I would like to own an Omega Seamaster watch one day.

Yeah. Watch batteries aren't cheap, but the jeweler I go to charges a flat $5 for battery replacement. Not bad considering a new battery at Wal-Mart or Radio Shack is almost $4 anyway.

Think I'm going to purchase a new watch from Amazon. I like the black one you posted earlier.
