I heard about that, but don't really know the timeline for it. I bought mine quite a few years ago at a gun show for $750 new. It's just a UCII with none of the shiney features like trijicon sights etc. I've put nearly 2k rounds through it and never had a FTF or any problem. Still has the original recoil spring, which I hear is a problem for a lot of newer UCII's causing a stove pipe issue.

About time someone did something about that pandemic. Just yesterday i found a couple in the recycling bin, trying to reproduce no doubt. Its reassuring to know you took action against your local milk jugs.
