But anyway...if I could pick a car that did nothing but go fast, it would have to be a 2013 Chevy COPO Camaro. Basically, you're looking at a car that does 9 seconds flat in the 1/4, with a supercharged 427 ci LS7 motor.
Speaking of supercharged, I know how it works, and if I had to pick a method to tune my car to, it would depend on whether or not I was driving in a straight line, or on a track with corners. If was I was in a straight line, supercharged, no problem. If on a track, I'd go turbo coupled with AWD (a WRX STi is a good choice).
However, the second variable you have to consider is, what kind of driver are you? If you go into the corner quicker, you want a supercharger. If you want a faster exit speed, turbo is quicker. Sure, while a turbo can put out a tad more power, it still takes more time to spool up, while supercharging gives a more linear power curve.
By the way, a 1400 HP Saturn Redline is definitely something I would love to see go down the track!

Lmao let me stop you right there with all the "If's". Copo Camaro yeah sure lets all go buy a brand new car that you can't even get a title to! turbo's set up right do not have lag on a gas engine, if they do thats what a small shot of nitrous is used for; superchagers are out dated end of story. Are they cool yeah, do they make power, yeah are they efficient as a turbo no.

sooooo you can take a COPO with hmmm 550hp at the wheels oooorrrrrrr a Shelby 1000 that has 1200 hp so about 1000 at the wheels hmmm. sure you pay 90k for the Camaro and 130k for the Shelby but for over double the power and a for better built car you tell me.
