Default Questions

So I bought a car from a dealer and they put a new engine in it. It started shaking a lot and we took it to the mechanic to see what was wrong. We found that the dealer did the shittiest job putting the engine together. So my question is, is it dangerous that they didn't put any gaskets what so ever? And that the intake manifold was loosely fit on? Because if there is a danger, I'm thinking of making them pay for the mechanic to fix it all and if they refuse I will tell them that it was a dangerous vehicle for me to drive and we can go to court.

Idk about dangerous, but definitely not right. If they really did that bad of a job on the engine, I would be down at that dealership raising hell until they fixed it.

Yes, the engine is probably the most important thing in a car, so I would expect it to be put back together to factory specs.

Thanks guys. Yeah they did a horrible job. They didn't align the camshaft synchros either. It was a poor, shitty job.
