Default FRF CookBook. Favorite foods, recipes and snacks.

Hello all FRF Users! Its Axel again.

So food for me is a big part of my life. I love to cook and enjoy food. I'd love to be able to share recipes and food ideas. Truck mets to me are people gathering together for great food and trucks. So lets make it happen.

I'll go first.

Quick & easy meals:

Chicken and Ranch Ramen Noodles.

Cook up your noodles the way the instructions tell you.
After they are cooked drop 1 TBSP of butter on top of the noodles and let melt. Next get a bowl, put the spice in and a little milk. Stir it up. Dump noodles on top and stir. Add a little Ranch on the top and Enjoy.

Mac-n-Cheese Axel style.

Cook up a box of Kraft(or whatever brand you prefer) Mac-n-cheese.
When you've got it all finished, milk, cheese powder and butter. Take 4 cheddar dogs and cook for 45 seconds in microwave. Then cut into small chunks and toss in pan with mac-n-cheese. Serve yourself up a bowl, then take some ketchup and squirt on top and mix! And enjoy.

I've got some good BBQ recipes, but those will come later. Post your recipes and concoctions.

Enjoy

-Axel-

Y'all should try Bread Pudding! Quick n easy, sweet n tasty.

Prep:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
You need a day old French bread, 1 TSP Vanilla Extract, 1 TSP Ground cinnamon, 1/2 cup Raisins, 3/4 cup sugar, 2 TBSP butter, 4 eggs, 2 cups milk.

Step 1: Cut up some French bread, tear into pieces and put in a square glass dish.
Step 2: Melt some butter and drizzle over bread.
Step 3: Warm some water, once warm, pour over 1/2 cup of raisins to make em swell.
Step 4: Make the "sauce": Combine milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, sugar, and eggs together. Mix well.
Step 5: Drain water from raisins and pour raisins over bread.
Step 6: Pour liquid or "sauce" over bread, let soak for a few minutes.
Step 7: Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
Step 8: Enjoy!

Note: I typed this up from memory, I suggest either looking up actual recipe or asking me for the recipe.

anytime I make mixed veggies (I usually use the steam in bag stuff) i'll add some butter, seasoned salt & cashews and mid it up really good before I serve it. makes 'em taste awesome (and nowhere near as healthy, lol)

i can also say i'll mix leftover mac & cheese with a couple of cut up hot dogs (or leftover meatloaf / sloppy joe mix / taco meat) and it makes a pretty damn good hearty lunch
