I sent a custom motorcycle part i make to a guy in Canada, it took about 12 days for him to get it! I am in Minnesota, and i can send a package to Florida and it be there in 3 days!!

no crap!!
a package can go almost 3000 miles across the country in 3 days, but it takes a week and ahalf for it to go 800 miles crossing into Canada!

Great news everyone! I called my local sign making place this morning and they can do me one for tomorrow! Im so relieved. I guess I should have just done this a month ago. He could have had it for xmas instead! Guess it goes to show, DON'T ALWAYS TRUST your Amazon and ebay if its an important gift, needed by a cretin time, if ya can, go local!! thank you for the help everyone! your all the best!
