I know this a Ranger forum but there doesn't seem to be a Nissan Frontier forum that gets any use. My 2002 Ranger got totalled out in an accident a couple of weeks ago and I replaced it with a 2002 Nissan Frontier.
4 door 3.3L 176K miles. I'm going to have a timing belt and water pump put on right off the bat. Anybody have any experience or suggestions on PM stuff I should do immediately (other than go back out and buy a Ranger). I'm also going to do a trasmission fluid/filter change. Should I have the transmission flushed as well or does that just tend to cause problems? Also, there is a "tick or click" right before I come to a stop and another one as I speed back up. Any ideas on what this is? Otherwise, it seems to shift and drive fine.

Somewhere in the cyber world there surely is a Datsun pickup forum where people talk about ailing Datsun pickups and solve issues with their Datsun vehicles. Sorry I didn't know of one.
