I wont be doing that again anytime soon!!
Ok i was just on my way home from work and it is a really nice day out... so i live out in the country and im taking the dirt road home and i stop at the off roading area i pass all the time...
I sit there at the entrence of the trail and think about whether or not i should go in, WELL the trail got the best of me and i went in (it was a very steep entrence to get in) now im driving through and getting a bit muddy having fun(only in there a little bit so far) THEN i get stuck on a sloppy hill so i decided i better call it quits and turn around before i get REALLY stuck because i dont know anyone that can pull me out....
So all is cool and i get back to the exit of the trail (same entrence i came in (quite steep) so i give it a little gas and almost get out but my truck turned to the side and i got stuck.... really stuck!
So i started to try and get out by revereseing and going forward again but my tires just kept spinnin and smoking and i kept turning more into the bush with debris/big rocks....
So now im panicing because i really dont wanna be stuck there and i dont wanna break anything on the truck because without a paying job id have no money to fix it and i would be SCREWED (biggest reason for panicing)
so i backed up a little further over a bunch of brush and put it in 1 and gave it some gas, my tires span all the way up the steep muddy entrence but i managed to get out! I drove off pissed and that was the end of it.
In the end everything seems to be ok on the truck (no leaks or dents anywhere that i could see) the only thing is i bent my trailer wiring plug bracket but i was able to bend it back
Anyways for now i have learnt a lesson, even though its tempting no offroading/mudding for me right now (maybe when i get a paying job i will save for an atv... then i dont have to worry about hurting the daily driver)
ps. i know people are going to say This Thread Is Pointless Without Pics but i was getting pretty pissed, no time for pics
