Not my quad, but I may buy it this summer, Suzuki 400, high compression head work, pipe, intake and quick shit. It will beat a YFZ450 in stock form.

And this is what happens when you don't have enough speed, hit a hole and your foot is big enough you shift up and bog the engine all in one motion without trying lol

You talk all about speed, but your pics are all in the mud. I'd go with something else if you're just mostly playing in the mud and trail riding. My experience with chains and mud is not good. Depends on the price I guess.

Lol I do ride a lot of trail, that was down in a coulee I was doing some hill climbs and crossing over the middle, where there is usually a stream when the snow starts melting, I've had it in the dunes in Wyoming.

I'm thinking I might get a big ass 4wd instead of the Zuki, so I can use it in the mud too lol

Hey are there decent (low end let's say) four wheelers you can fit in a ranger bed without having to use the extender?

How does it do in the trails, I was looking at a RZR S, or whatever the turbo model is. If you look me up on facebook there's a sweet vid on there of one of em jumping the dunes down in Wyoming this summer. Absolutely sick little machines.

I can put anything so far up to a Raptor 660 in mine, I had a Honda Rubicon 500 in my truck too, although that was a TIGHT fit, like trying to stick a whale in a Mini lol

I was thinking about buying a used 4w since my truck is 4x2, but nothing too powerful.

The other reason I looked at one is so I can four wheel it instead of worrying about possibly breaking my daily driver off road lol I think you have a good point

4wd sacrifices speed. But you'll be able to cut through the mountains instead of having to speed around them. Mine is also automatic, which cuts out a lot of speed, but it's so nice...especially in climbing situations, and in the water.

Mine fits in my bed perfect. It's snug. Have to leave the tailgate down though.

Edit: That little red trailer in my avatar is currently being repainted and rewired. The 4 wheeler weighs too much to be in the back of my truck for a long haul. The trailer is a 4'x8' we got at Sam's for about $300 about 15 years ago. It's perfect for a Ranger. I've had it loaded down with all kinds of s*** and my truck doesn't even acknowledge it's back there.

That I knew, but for me I don't need all the speed when I have capability too, I'm a thrill seeker but to be able to say I went further then anyone makes me just as happy. Most 4wd's I've seen are automatics, which I hate but does make them capable, I would get a manual if I could find one. Plus I'd use it for work. I used to make pretty good money cutting firewood when I lived in trees, I could use it to haul smaller logs up to the road, or go scout for trees to cut (on the road mind you Tread Lightly Member)
