On the radio today, I heard that Tuesday and Wednesday we may get some snow, but it will be more rain than anything.

Ha, we got 3" over in Jackson. There' is a crapload of snow, ice and water still remaining on the trails. It should be a good time Saturday.

Yea I'm bringing a chain for if I decide to hit the trails. You guys think a stock 2x4 will make it through?
Also I might be bringing a future ranger owning buddy of mine.

A lot depends on how you drive your truck. From your photos, it looks like you've got a road type of tire; it would be best if you were a few trucks in, so that you could go over some of the snow that's previously been packed down.

I made it through everything I tried in 2wd, but I've got all-terrain tires and a limited slip rear. If nothing else, just make sure that the guy in front of you can pull you out if you need it.

Hell yeah. If you have anything heavy you can tie down in the bed like cinder blocks, the extra weight helps too.

Oh dont worry, I've had about 8 cinderblocks back there since the first snow storm. I think ill be good, my rear tires arent exactly stock.

On another note, I dont know how it is by you guys, but its about 38 where I am, everything melting here, I can finally see my own lawn.

it's "warm" today.. tomorrow it's suppose to snow 4-8" now.. starting at 4am turning to rain then back to snow pretty quick.. then ending sometime thursday morning.. A buddy of mine should be coming with me.

I hit the trails last night, there wasn't much water out there, due to the higher temps and the ice melting. Currently we've got about 2 inches of snow built up, so it should be a good time on the trails Saturday after the meet n greet.

I'm probably a no go as of right now.. I think I messed something up last night driving home in the snow.. I smelled some nasty stuff when I got out.. I'm going to try and get it looked at tomorrow..
