Anyone from NYC? Ford dealership in Manhattan
Hi guys!
On October 17th. Im going off vacations to New York. I booked a hotel in Manhattan; ROW NYC, Times Square.
As I post on every thread, american Ford parts are very hard to find here in Uruguay, so Im planning to buy some parts while Im at NY.
Question is, anyone knows a Ford Dealership in Manhattan? We are staying just for 10 days, and we have tons of things to see/visit (Im an architect and I wanted to visit NY since I was a kid, so I will be on the run for those 10 days!).
Any dealership not to far from were Ill be staying would be awsome.
I appreciate if anyone would help me with some dealership name, address etc.
Thanks a lot guys!!!

I don't know of any in manhatten, but i'll ask my neighbor who grew up in the city. you might consider jumping a train into NJ and look for a dealership a ways outside the city... it'll take a portion of your day but may be worth it to avoid some of NY's famous "fuck you" attitude lol

You should take in all that NYC has to offer instead of scouring for truck parts.
What parts are you trying to source that you can't find on Amazon or Ebay and ship to your Times Square hotel.
I source online because of lower cost and free shipping and I live near dealers and junkyards
Have a safe and enjoyable vacation.
I just returned from an extended NYC trip...aside from the obvious to learn the subways, in a pinch sign up for Uber.

I thought about jumping to NJ, but theres a problem, and its called "wife". If I propose her to take a train to NJ to visit a Ford dealership and lost 1/2 a day, either i divorce and stay in NY or she may burn the credit card at any mall.
Please ask your neighbor and let me know if he knows!!!

The problem, since 2 years ago, are the shipping fees. USPS has an excellent international mail service (better than German Post and much better than the Royal Mail from UK) but lately, shipping fees are insane.
I didnt thought about the hotel shipping, I like that idea and I will consider that, great idea man!!!!!
I downloaded NYC Subway App for Iphone. I used a similar app for the subway in Paris last year, and it was a goal!
We plan to use the subway mostly, maybe some taxi (cant visit new york without riding in a yellow cab crownvic... Ill will pass on the blue and white ones hehe), so Im sure this app will be very helpfull for us.
Great idea on the hotel delivery! I will consider that, thanks a lot man!!!

Here a street shot near your hotel
Real estate is so precious in nyc, you have to go to go to Brooklyn just for a can of oil.
