I have had the Droid since it came out. It is so much better than the windows mobile I had before. Windows mobile is like carrying the problems of your desktop around with you. The droid is Simple and fast.
No operating system is perfect but I like the Droid.

my wife and i are getting them as soon as our contract is up. a few of my buddys traded there iphones for them and love them so that convinced me. i always wanted an iphone but i refuse to switch to AT&T's crap service. verizon is king around here.

omg... i know what you mean,,, i had to windows mobile phones... i HATE them as soon as you use explorer your low battery turns on, it always freezes NEVER gets full bars... they are the worst phones

I get awesome service, very fast internet (dolphin browser) i compared it to my friends 3gs and mine was quicker, and mine doesn't restart i just got a new one today because i broke my screen

I'm very curious about how strong the droid is...

How did you break your screen?
Did it take much?

I was changing my fuel filter last night and forgot it was in my pocket and from rolling around the pressure broke it. but the screen didn't actually crack it was just all black. i was still making and receiving call's though

no offence but thats pretty weak... i was drunk one time and i whipped my HTC touch at a ceiling smoked it came flying back down on the cement i popped the battry in it and the back cover turned it on worked fine, 3rd day of my iphone i dropped it smoked the cement works fine, did it agian last week, i ran over my old fire red krzr with my atv still works.. ive gone threw 5 phones but its just from getting bored of them except the HTC windows mobile them peice of shits from the firmware not working properly

Yeh pressure on one of those screens is sure to end it. I've learned that the $5 a month insurance is really worth it!

I just got my girlfriend one for v-day, she loves it. We both agree that the droid is far better then the iphone, and not just because its on verizon's network. Android is a great phone os and the multimedia dock makes a great alarm clock.

Personally I have the latest gen of the g'zone boulder. First phone I've had that I didn't break, I find it hard to believe that a spike on carpet shattered the outside screen as mines met concrete from four floors up and was perfectly fine.
