I'm thinking about buying a xbox 360 tomorrow. What is your input and why do you like yours? Iv always been a ps2 kinda guy. But I'm wanting to get into the 3rd person mode video games. I love resident evil and halo and call of duty games. I'm just looking for input on the xbox 360.

I've had 2 360's, one is at my friends house cause I bought a black one and sold him my first gen white one. Only problems I've had was the disc drive.

I haven't tried the new models, and i waited for the jasper units to buy mine. I hate that you have to pay to get access to your games' online content on the 360. Players seem to take stuff more seriously on it too, sometimes, a little too seriously.

I'd say the 360 is the hot one to get, with Forza 3, Halo and Kinect imho. The ps3's alternative to kinect is so lame.

Either console you get, they both have strong arguments since they share a lot of hot games.

we broke 1, have 2 regular 360, 1 360 slim (newest), we broke 1 original xbox, and i still have my original in storage, still werks. So they break and stuff but they are really cool, just dont get those intercooler things, they make RROD's

I bought an Xbox Elite the day I bought my Bravia tv. I'd always been a PS die hard fan, but now that I'm Xbox I will never go back. Simply put the Xbox, IMHO, is a full line entertainment sys. Yes there is no Blu ray, but with the right tv who cares. Game titles are endless, Last.fm rocks, and I love netflix for some late night b-movies. Yes, PS3 is the same thing basically, but with the Xbox I can run my laptop through it as an added bonus. I say go with the xbox, you won't be disappointed.

also lay it flat, and raise it up off the side to allow air flow all around the console. I used these 4 rubber pad type things at the corners to raise the console up about 3/4 of and inch.
