Question eBay or Amazon???

Where have people had better luck buying parts from? I'm just asking because some of my friends have been screwed over and didn't get what they paid for on ebay and on amazon it just seems like slim pickings. (OR)
Is there a site that has been great that you have bought parts from in the past. By parts I mean in general, lights, wheels, seats... the normal kinds of things. Nothing really too specific thought. Just a site that has everything and a good track record.
Im a weary online spender so it would have to be a site that would let me pay with one of those pre-payed debit cards from safeway. If you have any ideas, that would be great.

Thanks, Light_White

I haven't had any problems on eBay. As 98blownranger said, always analyze the sellers feedback and read the FULL listing. Also, take a close look at all the pictures they post.

Just think of eBay like a garage sale. People can make their items sound better than they actually are.

Craigslist is also a great choice, especially since you can meet someone local and look over the part(s) before giving them money.

If you are looking to spend more, there are plenty of auto retail outlets such as summitracing.com & 4wheelparts.com

My truck mod parts where bought mostly from ebay. Saved a bundle. Hood from a Thunderbolt was only $65, Roush CAI $50, 03 Mustang buckets $100 and on and on. Like everyone says read feedback and ask the seller questions and/or request additional pictures. If they don't want to respond, move on.

Hello, my name is Dave & I'm an ebayaholic

I have over 1100 transactions on eBay & have only had 3 transactions that didn't go like they should have.

I check eBay 1st then if I can't find a better deal elsewhere I buy it. Almost always I get the best deals on eBay.

I have just purchased my 1st item from Amazon & have yet to receive it. It is to be here this week so I will let you all know what I think.

yea Amazon carries some used. I just never seem to find anything for the Ranger on amazon, that I would want.
