Shania twain started that trend by bridging the gap. What better way to build your fan base than by being a part of multiple genres.

Yes, I like John Anderson's old stuff. Not sure if he has anything in the last 10 years or so. I saw him at a county fair once. He mingled around the fairgrounds without security like everyone else and was very friendly. It was about 10 years ago.

You can't sit here and tell me that Conway Twitty was 100% country. Don't even get me started on Elvis.

Nobody gave a shit about Shania Twain's crossover style because she was and still is incredibly attractive.

IMO, mainstream country died when the steel guitar and fiddle weren't used any more.

I preordered it on iTunes but went to BestBuy just to get the CD with two bonus songs so yeah...I'm burning it up! Lol. They're so good.
