yeah, im not sure how they are getting around that. You would think they would say, "HEY! we got a camera crew over yonder, go bust them down! " lmao
And it wont be no secret when/if his fellow firefighters see the new show!

I was wondering this also. I looked in to the show moonshiners.
the taping of the "Moonshiners" is staged and they arnt actually making shine. that "agent" who is chasing them knows who these people are and knows its not shine its all for the drama and showmanship. and thats from the network

Yep that is my thought too because I know alot of the old timers that still moonshine for real and it's nothing like that tv show at all. Plus the VABC and ATF are 10 times meaner than what you seen on that TV show. They really didn't make moonshine at all. I figured this may have been a ploy for discovery channel to up their ratings because the history channel is killing everyone right now in the ratings. Here's another thing that they didn't consider either. The Federal Government now lets you apply for a permit to do this this to make fuel only. I've done enough research on it to choke a horse. The IRS, ATF have no problem with you making it for fuel as long as you don't sell it or pour it into a drinking glass. The only ones giving me grief about getting the proper permits for this is my state.
