This. JR is more of a designer to me instead of a builder. But this new season or show whatever you call it sucks ass. Its all a bunch of crap now and the themes are just plan stupid now a days. I go on netflix and watch all the old seasons. Back when they were in the small shop the show was just so much better.
COMANCHE BIKE is my favorite besides NYFD.

Re: American Chopper Senior vs Junior TV show.
PJD man, Paul's designs are always sick looking and fresh. The Gears of War trike was absolutely incredible. Yeah, he may have become a slacker while still at OCC, but he was a huge factor in the company's success. Besides the fallout with his old man, I think another reason for his slackining and leaving OCC was that he was getting less and less input on bike designs as it was all being done by Jason on his computer. As many of you guys have already said, I too think the quality of designs at OCC has fallen since jr's departure.
x2 on Rick jumping over to PJD. I'm getting the vibe that jr and Vinnie are going to try to get Rick to jump ship. Hope it happens.

Have to admit, I'm behind on the most recent shows - wouldn't doubt it may be going downhill. At some point here they will jump the shark, if they haven't already.

Re: American Chopper Senior vs Junior TV show.
I just started it this season (no idea how many seasons have passed). Definitely a fan of JR, mainly because I feel he is the underdog.

Re: American Chopper Senior vs Junior TV show.
This isn't a popularity contest but a sad soap. Senior allowed the younger sons to get totally messed up by passing out too much money before his sons developed any character. To buy Jrs love, Sr allotted Jr over $25k/month of the blockbuster show income with the final stupidity being Sr's giving away 20% of OCC to entice Jr to develop some work habits and involve himself into OCC, but the damage to his character was done.
Bottom line, JR can't do anything on his own but needs strong helpers to flesh out his thoughts, which are generally improvements on past designs. Sr has still been able to keep OCC afloat, never professed to being a designer but is a successful entrepreneur, several times over.
I feel sorry for dad's inability to father while having to make make payroll and take the fledgling company into stardom. All three have been through substance recovery but the kids bare the scars, Mikey worse, unlikely to reach 40 reaching for paternal love but, he also worships JR who constantly feds him the hatred for his father killing all hopes.
Jr can never admit any responsibility for his shortcomings and with no redeeming values couldn't survive today without show income. Jr could have been running OCC today had he learned to come to work on time and put in 8 hours. Let's hope they don't have kids.

Re: American Chopper Senior vs Junior TV show.
Are you kidding me^? Design and build as many theme bikes as JR has and then tell me how you feel about coming in a few minutes late...
