Watch TV Online?
Alright guys.... since I moved at the beginning of this month I am now without a TV. Financially I can't really afford one and want to try to go without buying one. I've been using Hulu and Netflix but they both suck and I only have access to some shows. I don't really care about watching live tv, I just want a site that has more options (current and past seasons). I'd also like to avoid downloading if at all possible and stick to streaming only. I know there's tons of good ways to do this so lets hear your suggestions!

Re: Watch TV Online?
one suggestion if you can afford it, look it to a Roku box. I've heard tons of great reviews about it, and its pretty reasonable in price. Cheapest is around 50$ and goes up to around 100$. I'd really look in to that if its something you think you can afford. If i had one in our house..lets say 55ish$+9+9 for hulu and netflix+the internet bill would save around 1200-1500$/yr alone on the tv bill.

Are you looking for free alternatives to Netflix and Hulu? Try Tube+ it's one of those sites that hosts links to user uploaded shows. The video quality of the shows are usually half decent...

I thought you still needed a TV for that? Plus I want to get away from Netflix and Hulu so what will that give me?

I don't mind paying for a service that works but I'm assuming due to licensing the selection isn't going to be much better. I also don't want to sacrifice quality.

Re: Watch TV Online?
Amazon has a video on demand service you could checkout as well.
Also, on most network websites (NBC, Fox, etc.) you can watch a few past episodes of shows they recently aired. There may be some TV shows that allow you to stream their shows online as well, I know you can watch old southpark episodes on southpark's website.
Curious, why don't you want to download? Is it a legal/ethical thing or a technical thing?

Re: Watch TV Online?
Date a black guy with a TV in his car.
OR
Date a guy who has reliable TV service, and then watch his TV.
OR
If you're done dating for a little while, don't go out with douchebags, find yourself a nice guy, and then watch his TV.

This is the best option you have... but it's not like I can spend all my free time at some guys house, assuming I meet one, so I need my own solution...

Psshh, I don't think you'd have any trouble finding another guy, just stay away from the douchebags.
You could become a Dominatrix, and force said new guy to live with you, in which then he would be spending all his free time with you, and you would have unlimited access to his TV.

Pooleo if that's the site I was on yesterday it was garbage... I couldn't get half the pages to load and even then I couldn't get a single video to start playing. It was some site where users upload the videos and they you are supposed to download to watch... the comments I read were iffy on quality but i couldn't get a video to load to check it out for myself.

Re: Watch TV Online?
projectfree.tv. is a great site. You just need to know how to use it.
There is always at least 3 pop ups you will need to "x" out. And always 2 "x's" under the video that need X-ing.
I use it to watch anything and everything. Look for links by putlocker, novamov and divx. Those are the best.

Well, whatever it is on your being that keeps attracting them, you need to cover it up. Be it your tits, ass, or a sign that says "I date douchebags", cover it up.
Just flippin shit, btw.

Good god. I just tried it, and I felt like I was playing minesweeper with it. Ads here, ads there, redirect here, redirect there.

Re: Watch TV Online?
yeah, there are pop ups, but once cleared, its all good.
Its easy for me cause I have 3 monitors, so they pop up on the other screens. IDK, I use it alot, no complaints.

and in defense of the site, what ya want for free.....?
