I understand what you guys are saying regarding "playing at a party" ... but, in all fairness, there's a great number of artists (some of them already mentioned in this thread) that you likely wouldn't hear at most parties these days; that doesn't diminish the band's greatness to any degree, nor their contribution to the art.

Did they play any Led Zeppelin at the last party you were at? How about Yes? Jefferson Airplane? Amboy Dukes? Rush? CSNY? Grateful Dead? Electric Light Orchestra? Scorpions? AC/DC? etc, etc, etc

To date in my music collection: I have everything from Frank Sinatra, to Classic rock, death metal, alternative, indy rock, jazz, I'm in Montana so a ton of country, some rap and r&b. A little of everything.

I do not have: Polka, classical, although there is nothing wrong with classical, karaoke, girl or boy bands, etc

Favorite band is hard. id have to say (in no particular order) my top three are:

Dystopia
//Against-Empire\\
K.M.D.

Favorite genre(s) of music: punk (crust,anarcho,d-beat), hip hop before '95, "oldies", rockabilly.

i dont have favorite song. i have a favorite for every band though.

Dytopia - "backstabber"
Against-Empire - "work breed consume"
K.M.D. - "constipated monkey" (thats a hard one that changes over time, theyre all great)

i also have a solo project called Depakote that recently had a 7" record released. i need to sell 300, you should buy one, ask me for details if your interested.
