I wish someone handed me money for a truck to destroy in Alaska.

wow talk about unfair. '76 ford, beaten and old vs modded 1980's chevy and modded 1996 ram. I say the Ford won that test becuase the other 2 had a unfair advantage in being lifted and being newer. A newer Ford would have beaten them and everyone knows it.

without the ford, neither of the trucks would have made it very far at all. technically, ford paved the way!

was that Ford a 2wd? becuase if it was a 4x4 it would have kept going if he would just take the broken shaft out. If it was 2wd then damn.

That episode pissed me off. Those trucks were all in different categories, hard to pit them against each other. And I would think anyone wheeling a truck that old in freaking no where Alaska would carry an extra D/S.

they should have had them be able to spend the 'housing' money on anything they wanted fro the trucks. it would have been a better episode IMO

At least the Dodge didn't win.

Ill take a Chevy over a Dodge but a Ford over a Chevy. So, my second choice won.

An WTF was with their campers?
Rutledge had a cabin and Tanner had a crazy lookin spoiler thing

I feel like the episode would've been much better and fairer if they all got roughly the same year trucks with similar modifications, despite the $3,000 limit it would've been even better if they all used brand new trucks from Ford Dodge and Chevy to compare, then we would really be able to see which was best.

something else to point out, that chevy was supposed to have a diesel, and it didnt, so either the owner just plain lied or the engine was swapped, if thats the case, that engine might have had less than 150,000 miles. Or by rare chance it was a 350 diesel converted to gas.....

i thought the exact same thing.

There should have been a year guideline. Or maybe strictly carburated or fuel injected. Maybe '87 and older
