Exclamation A Great Canadian/American has died

At the age of 84...leslie Nielsen
many would remember him from silly roles like The Naked Gun movies...but he did far more than that. He was born in the very far North of Canada..his dad was a strict disciplined Mountie whom I don't think he remembered too fondly. He was considered for the role of Ben Hur in the late 50's which Charlton Heston got. Here are 2 typical Leslie Nielsen quotes;

"Doing nothing is very hard to do . . . you never know when you're finished."

"The reason they call it 'golf' is that all the other four-letter words were used up."

I used to be a big Leslie Nielson fan and even read his autobiography when I was younger. RIP.

Loved his movies growing up. I'll never forget that intro where the cop car roof with the light was driving through everything. Family Guy even did a parody of those movies more than once.

Here's a great one..

I always loved the part where he wiped that frickin birthmark off of Gorbachevs head.. "I KNEW IT!" lol
