Re: pretty much epic
0:33 was probably the most epic front flip Ive seen. I used to ride all the time but I just kinda grew out of it. I shouldve never gotten rid of either of my bikes

Re: pretty much epic
yeah im sure he breaks his fair share of parts, but trials bike riders are notoriously accurate with their bikes and highly skilled making the rim bending not nearly as bad as the crank snapping, tire popping, and bending of other parts. yeah i used to race bmx then got into freestyle bmx and free ride mountain biking, but i have always had a soft spot for trials so i think im gonna pick up one of these inspired bikes, only 1400 for the entry level one!

Nothing remotely close to what he does. I just have older mountain bikes that I like and haven't considered new wheels. You're right though...there are some amazingly strong wheel sets out there.
Perhaps I can convince the 'CFO' that I / we need new bikes for safety reasons......metal fatigue in the wheels maybe....yeah.....that's the ticket.

Re: pretty much epic
you ride for work? and yeah honestly as some one who used to work in a bike shop, and has ridden all my life, wheels take a lot of abuse but you have to take care of them, and there is definitely upkeep on wheels, its pretty much one of the most catastrophic failures you can have on a bike. if your wheels are old and beat, make the investment in some new ones.
