The Droid X is nice if you have pockets big enough to hold a 5 gallon gas can.

Its really no that big. (the EVO is even bigger) I am a holster guy anyways the thing is always on my side never in my pocket and is no more obnoxious than any other phone.

Well I guess I'm the only one running Cingular . And I'm using the new Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 in white and that is a android phone and I like it a lot. Doesn't have the slide up keyboard but that isn't a problem for me. Has an 8.1 megapixel camera which is crazy! But I am a little skeptic about this phone. I don't know if I should keep the white or go with black?

Any suggestions?

I can do everything with it one handed and thats key for me. Most people that have the 2 say that they dont even use the keyboard that much anyway because of this. You are forced to use 2 hands with the slider. The portrait keyboard on the x is very easy to use I rarely turn the phone and type on landscape but its there if i need it and is flawless. I wont lie it is bigger than the touch but it is half as thin.

The evo is not bigger. I've got one, and a friend has the X. The X is definitely bigger.

X is taller EVO is (looks) wider (never actually held one). Tall I can deal with but width becomes an issue with my one handed needs as i stated above <(LOL thats sounds horrible but you know what im getting at) Im not downing the EVO if i had sprint thats the phone I would get because it is basically the X's twin.

STL, which one you leaning towards? If you say the iphone i will unsubscribe form this thread lol

The EVO is a bit wider, and a bit thicker. But smaller overall. I dislike the physical buttons on the X, but if I were on Verizon, it would be a toss up between the X and the Samsung Fascinate
.

Yeah this is my first smart phone/touchscreen so the buttons dont bother me much i got used to them pretty fast. If they do come out with an X 2 that has touch buttons i would pick one up for sure. I do kinda think they help with accidental button pressing tho.

The Ally does not have the best keyboard. The Ally is on par with the first Android phones that came out, its outdated. It doesn't even have a 5 row keyboard.

Thats why Verizon is giving them away for 50 bucks. My buddy got one and the screen is lousy and small IMO

I am leaning toward the X friend at work has one. I really like it the typing was super easy.

I will never own a Iphone.

I went on a buisness trip a few months back. At breakfast with about 20 people they all pulled out their Iphones. I know a lot of people have Droids but they seem fewer then iphones.
