Glenn Beck fans?

Over the past few months I've been watching Glenn Beck on Fox News. I have to say I really love the show. The man makes a lot of good points and always has a great show day in and day out. Are there any other fans out there?

It's all BS. And so is everything coming from the other side of the isle. I have yet to meet a politician that isn't a self-serving lying horses ass. It is not worth my time or effort to choose hard sides because I hate things about all of them. If you were weight all my likes and dislikes, I definitely lean right. However i take no extremes.

In other words, Glenn Beck is very passionate about what he does and believes in. But it's pointless. Nothing he, I, you, or anyone else says will change anyone's mind on political issues. Everyone's mind is already made up and anyone who thinks otherwise is the enemy. Why waste the time.

They are all full of crap. I like his christian values, and yes he makes some great points. My grandma loves him. But I love how she quotes some of that crap she hears on there and its sounds so absurd and I just ask her to show me her sources.

I agree with fireranger, they are all rich *******s only looking out for their selves. Every politiciab there is well to do and are usually millionares. I'm sorry but a millionare can't speak for the common folk like my family and our needs.

its the same bullshit every year/election----"ill cut spending, reform healthcare, and help defecit". And every year its that same, healthcare costs go up, spending has skyrocketed, and the deficite is more than ever.

If u really wanna cut spending how about capping all government employees down to a 80k-100k salary, stop paying for all their cars and shit and get this country back on track

I am a Glenn Beck fan but I really prefer Mark Levin and Andrew Wilckow. I know, based on some of the previous comments that as a hard right conservative what I say won't be popular. But...

We have had a true gift given to us 234 years ago and there were men that were true visionaries perhaps even divinely inspired that wrote a Constitution and Bill of Rights that set this government apart from all others. When we let apathy and don't give a shit and I can't change it attitude govern us then we deserve the likes of Obama, Pelosi and others. We have a civic and God given right to vote and chose for ourselves who we want to represent us. And when we chose not to do that then entitlement queens will do it for us and we will have the government running every aspect of our lives. Cutting waste, fraud, unneccessary spending, entitlements, loss of Constitutional rights, liberty, justice, freedom - you name it - starts with you. There are 535 elected officials in the Federal government and they are elected by us. If you don't like who is there vote them out. IT TAKES TEN MINUTES OF YOUR PRECIOUS DAY AND IT IS YOUR RIGHT! It is government FOR the PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE! Shame on us for allowing spend thrift, never worked an honest day in my life, have never run a private business, career politicians to remain in office. Why? Because we couldn't get off our ass to vote.

Quit listening to NPR, Associated Press, reading your local liberal rag newspaper, quit reading Time - Newsweek, quit watching MSNBC, CNN and a host of others. Read your Constitution, the Federalist, the Declaration of Independence. Read about Adams and Jefferson and Hamilton and the rest. Then go out and find the people that REPRESENT you and support and vote for them. Hold them accountable- if they don't represent you vote them out the next election cycle.

By the way- it took Obama getting in to office off of the apathetic and don't give a shit no shows at the polls to come to office and to finally piss off enough people with his elitist "I'm smarter than you smug attitude" that things are going to start to change on Nov. 2 and again in 2012. Be a part of the fix and quit whining.

For those of you who have served this country as I have you lifted your right hand and swore to uphold the Constitution AND to defend this great country from enemies foriegn and DOMESTIC. The greatest domestic enemy we have is in office and surrounded himself with socialists.

I am that God fearing, Bible reading, gun owning, right wing radical (also known as a conservative veteran) that he and this administration berate but fear.

if you are in the armed forces you KNOW you can not talk bad about YOUR Commander and Cheif that is also a given so your statement is offensive "The greatest domestic enemy we have is in office and surrounded himself with socialists." It's interesting that a member posted his support of Glen Beck and he was pounded for it. I offered my support of him and chose to offer my political view. I didn't mention any political affiliation beyond saying I'm conservative and believe in the principles upon which this country is founded upon and suggested that others do the same. I also did state that I am a veteran and thus no longer bound by the UCMJ nor exempt for stating my dislike for the current administration or Commander in Chief. Find it offensive just as I find it offensive that this country is being run into the ground by the current crop of Democrats and Repugnicans (pun intended). You don't have to support me and you don't have to like what I say. But don't tell or suggest to me or anyone else that we don't have a right to our opinion or to express it. Make an argument for your belief.

In retrospect I would like to add this....

No one was not permitting me my point of view and so I mispoke and apologize for that comment. I did not intend to offend anyone serving this country. Whereas I know many veterans that hold the same opinion or view of the current sitting administration. That being said, irregardless of our individual political beliefs, I extend my heartfelt thanks to anyone currently serving for defending the right that allows me my rants. I will not apologize for my beliefs. Name calling and mud slinging is not constructive but a good rational argument is. My intent is to provide a point of view that may occasionally hold a defensible argument and to receive a thoughtful argument or point of view in return. For me it's about educating oneself to make a decsion and to act on it. In this particular case it's about taking ownership back of this country and quit laying blame on anyone but ourselves for putting these people in office.

I also support our troops to give us these freedoms and I also do not want any more rights taken away because of fear either.

I to do not like all the dems or all the Repubs but I like some of both parties.

I always said there should be a split ticket.
Maybe in todays world we could get that done.
there are good ideas that come from both parties and it sucks that you have to have just one party that makes the deciding choices.

but to stay on the current thread issue Glenn Beck is a entertainer he does it to make a living

Thank you. I respect everyones opinion. It's your right to state your beliefs. I am a Conservative, Christian, and Family Oriented guy. There is nothing anyone can say to change the way I feel about it. What some people need to realize is that we all got on fordrangerforum.com so we could learn things about our trucks, help people with their trucks, make some friends, and have a good time. We all are going to have different views thats a given and politics is a sore subject. If you go to reply on a thread just to bash the person who started the thread, don't even bother to reply. I don't want people to sit there and take shots at me and neither does anyone else. I made this thread asking if anyone liked the same T.V. show I did. Just expecting people to say what they liked about it and points on the show and ect. What I got was people taking shots at me and my beliefs. Its not cool at all.
