S L O W! Windows 10 Any Advice?
My Win 7 hard drive crashed, so I bought a Windows 10 HP and it is slower than molasses, anyone had any luck speeding up your Win 10 machine. I have turned off all the extra app bloat and spyware installed from the factory. Thanks

i want to hear more on this as well, since i'll be buying a littel win 10 box before long for the house

HP 15-f233wm Cheapo at Wally. I'm busy now, so I can't check to see if I can increase the RAM. Watching YouTube, to see which small engine flywheel puller to buy..LOL!

Wish I could figure out how to make extra money with my slow laptop, instead of busting my knuckles on lawn mowers.

Re: S L O W! Windows 10 Any Advice?
How about going in there and seeing what amount/percentage of the CPU and RAM is being used and what is using it, and if there is a pig that needs to be turned off or removed, do so?
Was this lappy NIB or a demo?

Re: S L O W! Windows 10 Any Advice?
I review low end laptops on my youtube channel, and have a lot of experience with that celeron n3050. It will always be slow, it already has 4 gigs of memory, upgrading to 8 will probably be a waste of money on that system, but an SSD upgrade is inexpensive, and will have a huge boost to performance. I personally don't think that laptops should come with spinning drives anymore. SSD's are the way to go, since they are far more resistant to damage from being bumped.
I have put this SSD: http://amzn.to/2sETP87 into a lot of laptops and it is inexpensive and has great performance. The best thing is, is if you upgrade laptops in a year or two, to something with more performance you can probably reuse the SSD. if it is one that can take a 2.5" drive.
Edit: Oh, and that's how I make extra money, i run my youtube channel, and get an extra $2-500/month to spend on what ever I want (after taxes).

How much have you put on it already? you can use an external drive adapter like this: http://amzn.to/2sEMi9v
Then us a program like macrium reflect (which is free for personal use) to clone your current drive to the new drive, then just swap them out. You just have to make sure you're using less than 110 gigs of your current drive.
If you are using more than that, you'll need a bigger SSD of course.
You can also create a bootable usb by downloading microsoft's recovery app, which is also free, you'll need a 4 gig USB drive, and that way you can have a fresh clean copy of windows without all of HP's bloat ware, but if you installed a bunch of apps, that can be a pain. Its my preferred method, but I swap between computers quite a bit, and most of my stuff is in the "cloud".
