You will be sorry if you ever mess with an iPhone 4. I have messed with a Droid. It doesn't have anything on a 3GS iPhone, let alone the iPhone 4.

The screens are because they are new. The slight yellowing will go away after the screen warms up.

They also have antenna issues, but Apple is working on it to fix the problem. If you are like me and MUST have a case on your iPhone, the antenna issue is not a problem.

The apps for the droid are much better, It came standard with multi-tasking, has a better camera, and MUCH better service with VZW. The only thing the iPhone really has on it is the front facing camera, Screen Res (which is BARELY better) and it syncs with iTunes.

I've owned the 3G, used 3Gs, and watched the whole keynote on iPhone 4, and quite frankly, was unimpressed, because Apple hides stuff from the public (and even their employees) so much, that when they come out with stuff, everyone is in awe. I never have liked that about apple but when the apple store didn't even know how many iPhones they had in stock, they just knew that they had more than 500 (250 of each) that set me off. Not only that, but AT&Ts customer service is complete and total shit, as well as their coverage. I set my VM before I left for basic, and tried to change it when I got back, and it wouldnt let me. So, I think that I may have missed a couple important calls and they didnt leave messages because of that. (it eventually got to the point that I couldnt even check my messages)

So yeah, between those 2, thats why I decided to switch.

Here is a really good article I found. I'm getting the Droid X as soon as it comes out (under 30-day trade in) You can read for yourself how they compared. Some things the iPhone was better at, others the Droid. Both were close in almost all categories tho.

Hey you know there is a program you can download to transfer your iTunes stuff to your droid right? That's how I got my music on my droid.

I just drug my music to the music folder... what app tho?


I'm already used to the touch screen stuff from the iPhone.

from what that shows it seems the iphone is better in the areas that you would use the most....

seems like it's really a YMMV issue...if you want verizon, or if you want ATT....so far I've had ATT for over 5 years and have never had any issues with dropped calls, speed, or whatever so I'm happy with that service...if I wasn't I'd use the droid on verizon....however after using other smart phones with different OS than apple...I guess I'd have to get used to restarting my phone daily again like i had to with pretty much all of my other phones....apple really seems to have gotten the operation down pat and have yet to have any "issues" with iphone

It's not an app it's an actual program you download on your computer. I forgot the name of it though

It's better, but the droid is so close that it really doesnt make a huge difference to me. I really like the user-customizability of it.


and I had all sorts of issues with AT&T
