Default Blackberry Tour for Verizon Wireless

Im getting a blackberry tour this Wednesday and was wondering if anyone has it what they think about it. Is it better then the curve and curve 2? If you do have it, how is it for texting and stuff like that?

Just about anything would be better than a curve. I hate mine. I'm upgrading my life and getting the new EVO in June. Blackberries are good for messaging and that's about it.

It sucks at browsing the internet. The browser sucks. The third party browsers suck. And most of the apps for it suck because the phone sucks. It is buisniness oriented device with most of it's capabilities centered around messaging and organizing. The android and iPhone OS phones are far better at pretty much everything.

I love my droid. If I didn't get this phone I would have gotten the blackberry storm 2. There are still so many features I don't know about yet.

i find the opera web browser on my curve 8900 to be quite good. I have about 20 apps on the phone. I broke my iphone and replaced it with this phone and like it far better.

Yeah I tried bold and determined its just a different kind of suck than the stock browser. Part of the problem is also the lack of available horsepower. It spends more time thinking about and spinning hour glasses than it does loading the page.

the thing is there are dozens of models of blackberries all with different processors and memory and capabilities. You cant paint them all with one brush.
