well if ya remember, its kinda the same thing they did with the cloverfield trailer during the 1st transformers movie, It didnt even say a name it just said 1-18-08

If you listen really close to the radio transmission it says something about "Wright-Patt" which is short for "Wright-Patterson", an air force base in ohio. A guy I used to work with was stationed there for a year or 2 and he said that there's certain parts of the base where you can only walk looking at the floor in between 2 blue lines, you're not allowed to look at whatever's in the room.

Heck, there's parts of my work place that you can't enter without explicit government permission and tops secret security clearances. Guarded 24/7 by soldiers. Every government entity has secrets. Thats what makes these movies so easy to believe.

I was intrigued by the first teaser but after watching that Superbowl one it just isnt what i was expecting. Does not look like its gonna be as good as i thought.

Some of you know I work at a Holiday Inn. Well the movie people stayed at my hotel when they was filming some of this, no stars just set & lighting people. They were in town for about 6 months, then came back in January to film some of the winter scenes. It was pretty hush hush but they did hire some local extra's and rented cars and houses for the movie. They even used some elementary and high school kids. The town of Weirton WV is where I work but the renamed it for the movie Do a search for super 8 and weirton, you will find some more info.
